 Reporting directly to the President, Martin called this opportunity an exciting one, noting that the compensation package met his needs. He described his vision of the job this way:

     "I'll be bringing operations into the 21st century. The company is growing at 20 percent a year and is beginning to struggle to keep up. I'll also review supplier relationships and help develop strategic plans regarding acquisitions."

 He felt strongly that some of the elements of SET's service were outstanding:

     "Having my personal history thoroughly dug through (the CHAMPS survey and interview stuff) to develop the marketing plan for 'Martin H-the product' was really key. It helped me to see assets I didn't think of, and develop a good way to market them (the SOAR stories, etc)."

     "Also, having access to a database to easily query for companies in specific geographic areas in specific industries was useful in helping me to have a large list of potential targets."
